The team has returned to compete in the Indy 500

Sprint Cars Coming to IMS
Dec 13 - IMS built a small dirt oval track inside the
infield of the 2.5-mile oval track and the USAC
National Midget Series has been racing on it each
summer since 2018.
IMS announced today that USAC's AMSOIL Sprint
Car National Championship series will race on the
track July 24, the night before the Brickyard 400
weekend.
Sprint cars are bigger and more powerful than the
midget cars. Unlike the World of Outlaw sprint
cars, the USAC Amsoil sprint cars do not have
wings.
The series will hold 50 races in 2025 at 24
different tracks, 8 of which are in Indiana.
