2025 Battle on the Bricks Information

This is the 3rd year for the Battle On The Bricks. It remains a six-hour IMSA
WeatherTech SportsCar Championship event on the 2.439-mile, 14-turn road
course.
The three-day festival showcasing the pinnacle of sports car racing kicks off
on Friday with Practice.
Qualifications will occur on Saturday. Plus a support series race that runs late
into the evening.
With 18 different manufacturers currently competing in IMSA and unparalleled
fan access to the garage area throughout the weekend, race fans in the IMS
infield can get up close and personal with their favorite sports cars, drivers
and teams.

All 4 classes in the WeatherTech Sportscar Championship race at the same time.
They compete against cars in their same class though.
This can become confusing, so there are ways you can identify which class a car is in as well as
it's position in the race.
* Each car has an LED display on the side that shows the race position of the car within its class.
* The car's number plate is a color that corresponds to a class:
BLACK
BLUE
RED
GREEN
(Often, the mirrors and rear wing end-plates are the same color too.)
EXAMPLE #1:
On the No. 6 Porsche below, the black background around the number "6" indicates it is in the
GTP class.
The LED shows the car is in 2nd place in the GTP class.

GA allows you to sit along the infield portion of the road course, on grassy hills.

GTD Pro class. Also notice it's side mirror and rear wing endplates are red too.

Four racing series will compete in separate races over the weekend.
Attracting the best Pro, Pro-Am and Amateur sports car drivers from North America and around
the world, the Porsche Carrera Cup North America is the premier one-make championship
on the continent, with drivers competing in identical 510 HP Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (Type 992)
race cars. They will have two 1-hour 40-minute races.
PORSCHE SPOTTERS GUIDE
The Lamborghini Super Trofeo is one of the most competitive one-make championships in the
world, taking place on the famous circuits across Europe, North America and Asia, with drivers
competing in identical Huracán Super Trofeo EVO2 race cars with 620 HP. They will have two
50-minute races.
The IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge features sports cars from 12 worldwide manufacturers.
The series has two different homologated classes: Grand Sport SRO GT4 cars (450 HP)
and Touring WSC TCR cars (350 HP). They will have one 2-Hour race.

The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship features two styles of cars and two categories of each –
PROTOTYPE - Showcases the latest technology and are designed for the racetrack

GT - Based on road-going production models.

They will have a 6-Hour race.

THURSDAY - Sept 18, 2025
A free RACE FESTIVAL will be held on Main Street in Speedway from 6-8pm.
Activities at the event include more than 20 IMSA race cars on display and three pit
stop challenges featuring the Penske Porsche GTP cars.
More than 70 IMSA drivers are expected to attend and participate in two autograph
sessions.
There will be a Q&A session with drivers Matt Campbell, Tom Gamble, Mathieu Jaminet,
Casper Stevenson, Dries Vanthoor and Philipp Eng on the IMS Stage on Main Street.
There will be five pickelball courts set up in the
Fan Midway and Pagoda Plaza.
Participation is free, but you must sign up ahead
of time at Tyrol Pickelball Shoes, where you
choose a skill level - beginner, intermediate or
advanced.
There will also be professional and celebrity
exhibition matches, tutorials, contests and
challenges.
