March 4 (Mexico City) - Nascar Fantasy League
players better take note. No point in choosing
Scott Pruett or Boris Said for road courses any
longer - Juan Montoya has arrived and he's on a
different level. Montoya won the Busch race in
Mexico City today, becoming the first latino to win
a Nascar race. Frankly, that is not very impressive
or is it surprising. Great hispanic drivers are
nothing new; racing stock cars in America is.
Bob Ritchie aka "Kid Rock" will be playing the
2007 Carb Day Concert at the speedway, which

Pamela Anderson.
His hit records include "Bawitdaba", "Cowboy"
and "Feel Like Makin' Love".
His 1998 album "Devil Without a Cause" went
platinum.

March 25 - The IRL's 2007 season kicked off
at Homestead this weekend. Dan Wheldon
won the race for the third time in a row!
A new IRL team was announced too! Samax
Motorsports and Citgo Racing, winners of the
2007 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona, is expanding
to Indycar. They will compete in 11 races this
season, beginning at Kansas next month.
Would you believe the IRL is getting a
THIRD woman driver?! Yep, tis true.
Venezuelan driver Milka Duno will pilot
an Indy racer.
Duno is 34 and began racing in 1996. She has
raced a variety of cars in her career including,
Barber Dodge Pro Series, Ferrari Challenge,
American Le Mans Series, Open Telefonica,
Porsche Supercup, and Grand American Rolex
Sports Car Series.
I think there can be no doubt - Indycar has the
hottest drivers in the world! Yowzee!

March 14 - After a year in the Busch Series, veteran IndyCar owner Greg Beck brings his team back to the IRL
part-time for 2007. Alex Barron will be driving for them.
Beck Motorsports was formed in 1991 by the second-generation driver and fielded Indianapolis 500 efforts for
drivers including Buddy Lazier and Hideshi Matsuda. With the formation of the Indy Racing League in 1996, the
team appeared at the IndyCar Series’ inaugural event, the Indy 200 at Walt Disney World, with Robbie Buhl as the
driver.
Beck fielded Billy Boat in 2001, finishing fourth in the championship with four top-five finishes and eight top-10
results, including a second-place finish at Nashville and partnered with Boat for the 2002 season.
Jones competed for the team in the 500-Mile Race in 2006 and ’04, and Shinji Nakano drove in the ‘500’ in 2003.
The team failed to qualify for the Indianapolis 500 with rookie driver Arie Luyendyk Jr. in 2005.
