The 1975 Mechagodzilla 2 is very similar
to the original 1974 version.
The most obvious difference is the arm insignia.
The 1974 has a "M" on top of a "G". Both letters
are in red and appear only on it's right bicep.
(Some 1994 figures put the insignia on both arms.)
The "MG" is blue on the 1975 version and has a
red "2" under it and appears on both biceps.
