The Speedway offers pre-paid parking in various lots scattered around the track for both cars, RV's and tent campers. The eminities are scarce and mainly just porta-lets for the tent campers. Lot 1 is what most people call the "Coke Lot". Perhaps it used to be owned by Coca-Cola. IMS owns it now. I park there on race day sometimes, its easy to get into and its usually free. It is all grass. There is a creek that runs down the middle of it. There are only a few trees along the outskirts of this GIANT field. Lots of campers in the areas closest to the track. Lot 7 is what most people call the "North 40". It is on the north side of the track, accessible from 30th Street. It is a large grassy field where you can park for free. It is one-day parking only and no RV's. There are shuttles that will run people from the North 40 into the infield of the track and take you all the way up to the other end of the track.
