| Nashville Indiana - AMA Hillclimb Sunday - June 22, 2003 |
| I rode my 1981 Yamaha 1100 Midnight Special on the scenic trip to Brown County on this sunny hot day. Joining me on his BMW 1100, was Jerome and his boy, Jake. Our friend Darren drove his van, bringing along a Grill-2-Go, food, coolers and some more friends. |
| After we paid the $15 admission, we setup the grill and I was soon enjoying a porterhouse steak. We broke out the lawnchairs and beer, sat back and watched the bikes zip up the ski slope. It usually took them about 7.5-8 seconds. |
| Some of the kids were cooling off in the nearby pond/stream. There wasn't much in the way of shade for watching the hill climb. |
| Afteward, I followed Jerome through the back roads of southern Indiana as we enjoyed the curving roads that wound through the woods and the rolling countryside. Great trip! |
