The GT World Challenge (GTWC) is a GT3 & GT4 international conglomeration of other Racing Series organized into a
separate championship by SRO Motorsports Group.

The GTWC divides their championship among three continents whose races are scheduled
so that there are no conflicts between all the race dates.  The three areas are Asia, Europe and North America.  Each
has it's own car brands, teams and drivers.

The GTWC has a three-class structure, based on FIA driver rankings:
Pro-Am for a Gold- or Silver-rated driver paired with a Bronze;
Silver for a pair of Silver-rated drivers and
Am for a pair of bronze drivers.
No Platinum drivers are allowed.

There are two 90-minute races on each race weekend.   The AMs start one race and the next day the Pros start.
There are some endurance races too.  In America, we'll have the 8 Hours of Indianapolis.  Europe has the Total 24
Hours of Spa.  Asia has the 10 Hours of Suzuka.

Altogether, there will be 23 race weekends in 2020 - 6 in Asia, 6 in North America and 11 in Europe.

Taking part in the American series is the
Pirelli GT4 America Series.
Most of their race weekends are included in the GTWC championship,
although they have an additional two race weekends during the IndyCar
weekends at St Pete and Long Beach.

GT4 America has two classes:
SPRINT = 1 driver per car, either Pro or Am.  -
They are not included in GTWC.
SPRINTX = 2 co-drivers per car with the three-class structure mentioned above. (Pro-Am, Silver & Am)

CBS Sports will
telecast live coverage of GT World Challenge America to viewers in the U.S. and Canada
throughout 2020. Delayed coverage of the European and Asian series will also air on the network this year.
In addition, you can stream all the action live from their Web Sites and YouTube.
